“
I try to paint as colorful as I am and express my feeling of love to
people, teaching them how beautiful life can be”.
I paint my fruits and vegetable large, to slow the
viewer down, and to show the beauty of the everyday world. With my
large colorful pieces I rediscover my childhood, in which my family
and I planted seeds in the garden of rich Hungarian soil. I was
fascinated by nature, to see the seeds to grow to maturity, and
witness the step by step process. First to see the blossom, followed
by a little bud that became our fruit or vegetable.
As I work on these paintings, rich memories come
floating into my heart and flow into the paintings. I share through
the eyes of my childhood the vibrant color that have become the
passion my adulthood.
While painting fruits and vegetables I found
similarities in their shape with the form of human bodies, and this
has inspire me to start painting human figures. With my appreciation
of nature I am showing the beauty of the human figure. My newest
interest is flowers, the shape; the movement of the flowers what is
interest me.
I
am also painting big decorative ceramic plates and large roosters.”
